Farm Boy Is Opening A New Location In The GTA
If you haven’t had the opportunity to check out Farm Boy, don’t fret! The grocery chain is opening another location just outside of the city.
Recently, Farm Boy announced that it would be opening a brand new location in Burlington.
Located at 3061 Walkers Line in Burlington, the new Farm Boy location will sit at a whopping 25,483-square-feet. The fresh food grocer plans to open its Burlington store in the late months of 2019.
“Fresh, wholesome foods and friendly service are the heart and soul of our business,” Jeff York, Farm Boy co-CEO, said in a press release.
“After opening locations in Toronto, Oakville and Hamilton, we’ve received many requests from residents of Burlington asking us to bring Farm Boy to their city. We’re thrilled to share the news today with the Burlington community and we’re excited for the opportunity to earn their lasting business.”
Like its other locations, Farm Boy Burlington will bring shoppers a world-class grocery experience.
In addition to an abundance of fresh farm produce, the store will feature butcher quality meats, artisanal cheese, and fresh dairy. Shoppers can also count on locally made products and plant-based foods, and sweet and savoury goods made from scratch in the Farm Boy kitchen.
Also to be made in-house by Farm Boy chefs will be the grocer’s on-the-go section. Expect a hot bar, salad bar, made-to-order grilling station, and fast-casual restaurant that will feature gourmet pizzas, freshly rolled sushi, and more.
Farm Boy opened its first location in Cornwall, Ontario in 1981.
In the past couple of years, the grocer has expanded across Canada with locations in Whitby, Kitchener, and Hamilton, totalling over 24 stores across the province. And it shows no signs of slowing down.
If you’re in Toronto and want to see what the hype’s all about, check out its two Toronto-based locations at 841 Brown’s Line or 1005 Lake Shore Blvd East. Find the closest Farm Boy location on the grocer’s website.
