H&M’s next designer collaboration is with none other than Mugler and is set to hit stores at some point this spring!
The H&M X Mugler collaboration will be available on H&M’s website and select H&M stores, but an exact date for when the collection will be available to shop is yet to be released.
H&M shared in a press release that the collection was crafted under the direction of Mugler’s Creative Director Casey Cadwallader, and will encapsulate the unique and vibrant spirit of Mugler.
H&M is no stranger when it comes to designer collabs, we’ve seen the shop collaborate with designers such as Versace, Comme des Garçons, Simone Rocha, Maison Margiela, and more over the years!
These collaborations tend to have mixed feelings from the public. On one hand, they offer the opportunity to shop brands that are otherwise relatively inaccessible to the general public thanks to high designer price tags – but on the other hand, some feel that these collaborations “cheapen” the respective designer brand, and not just in regards to the price.
Diet Prada even made a post sharing the news with screenshots of tweets that… let’s just say aren’t too in favour of the collab.
