In the past year Virgil Abloh’s unveiling of “THE TEN” has been one of the biggest stories in footwear news. His take on popular Nike silhouettes were by far the most popular sneakers of the season and transcended fashion. As part of “THE TEN” Abloh released a pair of Converse Chuck 70’s that seem to disappear from the collection with no official release date.
That was then, and now the sneaker has an official release date and sneaker lovers have been clamouring to get the details on how to get a pair.
The shoe is another design victory for Abloh and features a translucent upper to showcase details of the silhouette’s original construction. Furthermore, the shoe features classic Off-White branding and pays homage to Converse’s history and future.
Each pair is set to retail for around $130 USD and if you so desire you can register to buy a pair through the Converse Web Store
