Popular Toronto Fitness Studio Announces New Location

Even though we’re creeping into the middle of August, there is still lots of time to hit those fitness goals you set for yourself at the beginning of summer. If you’re looking to work out more than your booty, head to MISFITSTUDIO for a movement and fitness experience that will tone your mind, body, and soul. Blending yoga, dance, and pilates, MISFITSTUDIO currently offers classes in its 88 Ossington location and until August 15, the pop-up at 96 Ossington, and soon, it’s new location that’s just been revealed.

MISFITSTUDIO just announced it would open a new permanent location on Bloor Street in September.

The news is super exciting for its devoted client base as MISFIT sadly shuttered its magical Queen Street West location at the end of 2018.

The new MISFIT location will be located on Bloor Street between Ossington and Dovercourt in the popular Bloorcourt neighbourhood.

“This year has been a real journey of evolution for all of us at MISFITSTUDIO. We are grateful for our community (who I think of as family) for choosing to stick with us through shifts and rotating pop-ups. We are constantly transforming and moving deeper into a place of trust that everything happens for a reason. Opening in a Toronto neighbourhood that is on the precipice of change, feels exciting. We can’t wait to welcome new MISFITS into our home.” Amber Joliat, creator of MISFITSTUDIO.

The 2,500 square foot Bloor location will offer the studio’s prized reformer, trampoline, cardio, and mat based classes. There will also be a dedicated room for private sessions. The studio will also have a curated shop, spacious change rooms, washrooms, and a cozy lounge area.

“Having two studios in different neighbourhoods is an adventure for us. Our studio at 88 Ossington has matured over the past three years and is always buzzing. Opening on Bloorcourt means new clientele and being part of a diverse neighbourhood that is changing, but still very supportive of small businesses. We’re honoured to be there and can’t wait to open our doors.” Andrea Hellenbart, General Manager of MISFITSTUDIO.

The studio is set to open in mid-September at 979 Bloor Street West on the 2nd floor.
