Our new fave space is now going to be completely revamped for the upcoming summer months and we can’t wait! Programming is supposed to begin on June 8th, with The Bentway Summer Bash.
According to BlogTo, the section of The Bentway that stretches to Strachan Avenue will open with a new building and outdoor stage with amphitheater-like seating. The plan is to link the numerous distinct spaces and use them as a pedestrian path and implement roaming performances or workshops.
#DYK: The bents underneath the Gardiner have city-assigned numbers used for repair purposes? We reinterpreted & integrated these into our way-finding system.
BONUS: Our pavement system also focuses on recycled materials incl. ?? glass bottles!

Sustainability is a top priority for this project – pavement systems are made of recycled materials and the garbage and recycle bins are made from 97 percent recycled milk jugs.
