There Will Be a Concert In the Abandoned Ghost TTC Subway Station

As one of the most unique and hidden spaces in Toronto, the abandoned TTC Subway station known as Lower Bay Station has been a mystery to many Torontonians. While some get the opportunity to check the space out every few years through Doors Open Toronto, many people haven’t seen it or have even heard of it.

For the first time ever, the TTC in partnership with Canadian Music Week will be opening up the abandoned station for a live concert.  This is really cool as the station hasn’t been used in 52 years. The evening will feature several performances from local bands, DJs and visual artists.

While the headliner for the event remains as mysterious as the station, according to reports the platform will be flanked by two open subway cars that will be used performance space for the musicians.  Unfortunately, advanced tickets for the event are now sold out, more are expected to be released once the headlining act is announced.
