Starbucks and caffeine addicts, rejoice! Starbucks just announced something huge, and we’ve got just one thing to say: it’s about time!
The Seattle-based coffee giant recently announced a partnership with Uber Eats.
Starbucks will soon be offering home delivery across Canada.
The program, dubbed “Starbucks Delivers,” is already available in the U.S., U.K., China, Japan, India, and more. In Canada, door-to-door service will be available in major cities, including Toronto, Vancouver, and Calgary.
Customers will be able to pick and choose from the majority of Starbucks’ food and beverage menu.
Available through the Uber Eats app, Starbucks Delivers will offer the same ol’ experience that you love when you go into the store. New, unique packaging will ensure that hot and cold menu items stay just as they should. And if you’re the type who loves to customize everything about their morning beverage, don’t fret! Uber Eats will offer over 170,000 beverage customizations so that each order can be uniquely yours — all within a timeframe of 30 minutes.
“We know that Starbucks fans are passionate about the brand and they’ll be delighted that they can now enjoy most of their favourite products whenever and wherever they are at the tap of a button,” Dan Park, General Manager, Uber Eats Canada said in a press release. “Order your team their favourite lattes for the Monday morning meeting or have lunch delivered to the park. Uber Eats is very excited about partnering with Starbucks to unlock the power of on-demand delivery.”
