From the falling temperature to the store aisles that are now overflowing with festive decorations, there’s no denying that the holiday season is upon us. Each winter season brings us something fun to put us into the holiday spirit, and this year is no different! There’s no shortage of activities to take part in, and we’ve got another to put on your to-do list!

If you’re on the lookout for unique, locally made items for your loved ones, the Liberty Village Holiday Market, next Sunday, December 2, is an opportunity to cross some people off of your holiday list!

Over 50 independent vendors from across the city will provide an eclectic mix of items that come at a variety of price points to suit your budget.

The selection promises to be diverse and includes lots of original pieces, courtesy of some of our city’s best artists, craft-makers, photographers, designers, and food makers. Some vendors you can expect to see are Black Dahlia Jewellery, Tribe Chocolate, Casa Lovina, Sweet Green Studios, Herb Market Botanicals, and JARSSS, to name a few. Take a peek at some of the market’s offerings below.

The Holiday Market runs from 11:00am – 5:00pm at the Glass Factory at 99 Sudbury Street for one day only on Sunday, December 2, and it will be DJ’d with bumping shopping tunes all day long.

With free admission and a venue that is children and pet-friendly, there’s every reason to head to the Liberty Village Holiday Market next Sunday. We’ll definitely be there stocking up on perfect holiday gifts (and of course, a few goodies for ourselves, too). We hope to see you there!

There’s no denying that when the weather gets warm, the city comes alive. The streets are full and Toronto is jam-packed with events. While it can be hard to narrow down what to do – there are just so many good options – one event we suggest checking out is Toronto Urban Collective’s Summer Pop-up Market.

Popping up for its third year in a row on June 11th at 99 Sudbury, the unique market brings together the city’s finest artists, designers, craft-makers and photographer. Not to mention, there’ll be a great line-up of food, drinks and music. Meet and mingle with the people behind the products, you never know what cool things you’ll discover!

You can get a sneak peek at some of the featured vendors on Toronto Urban Collective’s Facebook page. If you like what you see, you can get tickets free in advance online or $5 at the door.
