Summer farmers markets are a real treat. They give you access to fresh produce, you get to meet the people who actually produce your food, and it’s a great way to support the local economy. If you’re a big fan of farmers markets like us, you’ll be happy to hear that new one will be popping up right in the heart of the city this summer.
Starting June 7th, 2017 – Yorkville Village will be hosting a high-end farmer’s and artisan market showcasing some of the best foods Toronto has to offer. Expect to see local produce, freshly baked bread and treats, artisan cheese, VQA wines and other upscale market goodies.
As this farmer’s market is taking place in Yorkville and the organizers have stated that they will only be offering the highest quality of products to keep in line with the personality of the neighbourhood, this market won’t be cheap.
Regardless of the price, those of you that are interested can check out the market in the outdoor courtyard of Yorkville lanes, at 136 Yorkville Ave. every Wednesday from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm from June 7th, until August 30th.
This will be a real delight for people that work in the neighbourhood.
