Another Aritzia location is amping up its space! The already stunning Aritzia Yorkdale flagship is getting a massive expansion and adding an A-OK Cafe.
If you’ve browsed around the area, you would’ve noticed that the makeover is already underway. Apparently, it will be double the size of the current store.
This news comes just after the CF Markville location opening, in which we saw beautiful interior decor. That new store is basically an art piece—so, we have high hopes for the Yorkdale spot. We can’t wait to see the final creation.
Plus, we love hearing the news of another A-OK Cafe. Who doesn’t want to enjoy a hot cup of coffee and browse through some clothes?
Keep an eye out for the Aritzia Yorkdale grand re-opening details!

Calling all men. Aritzia has now acquired the athletic wear brand, Reigning Champs, which means that the beloved Canadian label will carry a menswear line—finally!
Aritzia founder and CEO, Brian Hill, spoke of the transition in a release stating, “We’re excited to welcome Reigning Champ. Rooted in classic, timeless athletic wear, their brand has been carefully curated for just short of fifteen years.”

Founded in Vancouver, Canada, Aritiza now operates over 100 stores across North America, with 63 in Canada and 33 in the U.S.
On the other hand, Reigning Champ is a smaller brand with two stores operating in Vancouver and Toronto. It was founded in 2007 by Craig Atkinson who spoke on this news in a release, “As an innovative design house offering exceptional experiences through its online and retail platforms, Aritzia’s well-established track record as a successful direct-to-consumer business is one that we’ve long admired.”
There’s no word on when we can expect to browse through menswear apparel at Aritzia just yet, so keep an eye out for the launch!

The famous Canadian brand, Aritzia, has officially announced that it’s donating 1,000 of its classic Super Puff jackets to Canadian women and girls in need for the holiday season.
Staff at the associations will be distributing the jackets to local families, and more specifically women and girls who are facing difficult circumstances.
Maya Roy, the CEO of YMCA Canada, said in a press release about the Aritzia partnership, “Whether it’s newcomers to Canada, parents seeking comfort for their kids, or women rebuilding their lives, this support provides people the warmth they need.”

Though many stores haven’t been surviving and lots of large retailers have been facing issues of all kinds, there are in fact some stores continuing to grow.
Aritzia, the popular Vancouver-started brand will be expanding their flagship store. They will be taking over the former BCBG store, as well as the former entrance to Holt Renfrew. This is pretty prime retail space, so clearly this means they’re doing more than just “pretty well.” When it opens in spring 2019, it’ll be one of the company’s largest stores.

The entire interior will even get a revamp to match Aritzia’s updated aesthetic which has been seen in some of the newer stores. This includes brightly lit stores and an open concept. The store will “also feature marble merchandising tables and cash desk, wire-wheeled oak tables and architectural wall panels, custom built-in millwork, custom graphic wall murals, steel and glass interior partitions, custom raked stucco walls, and polished concrete and herringbone marble floors,” according to Aritzia. It will also have a lounge area being described as “feminine and spacious” and will have lots of plants.
