We can practically taste summer in the air and with McDonald’s Summer Drink Days being back, we can sip our way into the season with ease.
As of now, Canadians can enjoy a small fountain drink and/or iced coffee for only $1+ tax at participating McDonald’s locations. For the summer season.
If you download the McDonald’s app, you can get any size fountain drink and (non-flavoured) iced coffee for $1. Whereas in-store the $1 offer only stands for a small and costs 25 cents per size upgrade.
Not to mention, for $2 you can get your hands on a small Fruit Splash for an extra splash of refreshment this summer.
Head over to your nearest participating McDonald’s to sip into Summer Drink Days!

It’s a sad time for McCafé lovers out there. McDonald’s has announced that it’ll be ending the McCafé Rewards program next month.
Officially ending in August 2022, the golden arches chain said in a release that it “will begin to transition to hot beverage cups without McCafé® Rewards stickers and cards.”
Yup, that means you will no longer be able to collect stickers from the cups and trade them in for a free beverage.
Some spots across Canada have actually implemented this back in October 2021 including Manitoba, and cities in Ontario like Dryden, Fort Frances, and Kenora.
The good news is that there’s still time to redeem your rewards, the final day to do so is December 31, 2023.
Discontinuing the physical McCafé program is meant to shift priority onto the MyMcDonald’s Reward on the company’s app. So, just like most things these days, it’s heading online.

Is it officially summer now? McDonald’s Summer Drink Days have finally arrived across the country today and there’s an exclusive deal.
If you order through the McDonald’s app, you can get ANY SIZE fountain drink or iced coffee for just $1 (plus tax).
Additionally, while making a purchase through the app, you’ll collect points to eventually use for free food at the fast-food chain. A win-win.
You can also walk into any participating locations to enjoy the drink days in which the fountain and iced coffee beverages begin at $1 for a small and increase by $0.25 per size.
McDonald’s is also offering a medium Vanilla Chai, Coffee Frappé, or smoothie for just $2 (plus tax).
