Loewe, pronounced lo-weh-vay, is finally coming to Canada in the form of a standalone storefront right in Toronto’s Yorkdale Shopping Centre!

The Spanish luxury brand, founded in 1846, is known for its leather accessories (like its iconic Puzzle Bag), ready-to-wear clothing (like its infamous Polly Pocket-esque pieces), perfumes, and more. Loewe is actually LVMH’s oldest luxury fashion house

Although the Yorkdale storefront will be Loewe’s first standalone store in Canada, Canadians have been able to shop the brand previously at Nordstrom and now at Holt Renfrew, along with some other shops, such as The Webster in Toronto.

Soon, Canadians will be able to shop Loewe on a larger scale, with construction for its storefront at Yorkdale Shopping Centre already underway.

The brand new Loewe storefront will be about 4,000 square feet in a new wing in Yorkdale that’s currently under development. Joining about 10 other luxury brands expected to open in the wing over the coming months, according to Retail Insider.

If you’ve browsed around the area, you would’ve noticed that the makeover is already underway. Apparently, it will be double the size of the current store.

This news comes just after the CF Markville location opening, in which we saw beautiful interior decor. That new store is basically an art piece—so, we have high hopes for the Yorkdale spot. We can’t wait to see the final creation.

Plus, we love hearing the news of another A-OK Cafe. Who doesn’t want to enjoy a hot cup of coffee and browse through some clothes?

Of course, not only do they sell coffee, but you’ll also find teas, cold drinks, an array of hot drinks, cocktails, plus treats to snack on.
