On March 13, world-famous candy store, Dylan’s Candy Bar finally opened in Toronto. If you have a sweet-tooth, this is a spot you’re going to want to check out. Think lifesize lollipop trees, giant gumball machines, candy-themed accessories, colour coded rows of candies, and much more.
The U.S. born chain tweeted it now has a store in Terminal 1 at Toronto’s Pearson International Airport. Specifically, near Gate D20 – and rumoured to hit the shelves of Hudson’s Bay stores and to open outposts in Holt Renfrew. Let’s hope another store opens up in the downtown core ASAP.
According to CP24, the newly opened Toronto location is 1,100 square-feet, and has over 500 products, a chocolate station and sells dozens of varieties of candies, travel gear, accessories and other confectionery-themed products. In some US stores, there have party rooms, ice cream and dessert parlours, candy cocktail bars, and other extravagant sweet-related services. Now, we can only expect over the top desserts like this one:
Dylan’s Candy Bar was founded by Ralph Lauren’s daughter Dylan Lauren in 2001. Since then, the chain has blown up and has become a favourite of many celebrities.
