Looking for fun things to do this Canada Day? Pretty much everyone is itching to get out of the house and with places beginning to open up, it’s becoming a possibility again to go out and enjoy normal activities. Canada Day may not be the same as last year or the year before that due to social distancing rules, but there are attractions in Toronto that will be open that you can go to safely. 

Let’s celebrate Canada turning 153 years old and have some fun this year. 

Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada 

Check out all the beautiful sea creatures like fish, turtles, sharks, jellyfish, and many more at Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada that’s open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on July 1st. If you have never been before, then you definitely need to go because while it’s definitely great for kids, it’s a lot of fun for adults, too!

Casa Loma 

Can’t get enough of historic sites? Venture out to Casa Loma and enjoy the stunning castle and history behind its walls. It will be open to the public on Canada Day from 9:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. 

Toronto Zoo

The Toronto Zoo will be open from 10:15 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. for its Scenic Safari attraction where you tour the zoo from the comfort of your own car. You can even drive through the lion den! Book your tickets online so you don’t miss out on this awesome adventure. 

CF Toronto Eaton Centre

In the mood to shop? The Eaton Centre will be open to the public from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Visit all your favourite stores and give yourself the opportunity to step out of the house.

Aga Khan Museum

Check out all of the different exhibitions that the Aga Khan Museum is offering and explore ancient artifacts and historic paintings. Open on July 1st from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., make this Canada Day one to remember and purchase your tickets online.
