We don’t know about you but once we heard the news that we can finally get our nails done and hair cut, we practically jumped for joy. While it’s wonderful that folks can get their beauty needs taken care of, it’s important to abide by the safety regulations that these beauty studios are all implementing. Toronto is filled with the best salons and spas in the world and we’re thrilled that these businesses can get back to business now that they’re allowed to start reopening.

Here are 11 Toronto beauty studios that are reopening.

Like everyone, your hair could probably use a chop so don’t hesitate on visiting Queen West salon weareweare when it opens on June 30. Known for its ’70s-style interior and vibe, the studio (which feels more like a cool and cozy loft) consists of five accomplished hair pros who all complement each other. The team’s talents range from cuts and colours to colour correction, bridal, and even blonding. Got safety on the brain? So does the salon and they’re taking it super seriously too with lots of sanitation, social distancing, and temperature checks for everybody.

Majesty’s Pleasure

Majesty’s Pleasure is highly revered for offering pristine beauty services to Toronto’s most fabulous. There are two locations, one on King West and another in swanky Yorkville and yes, they’re both stunning. Both locations are reopening and have new procedures in place for health and safety like operating under reduced capacity, social distance markings, and touchless shopping of its retail store.

Civello Salon & Spa

With three Civello locations in Toronto, a great hair cut is never too far away. The salon is set to reopen all of its doors on June 26 with safety precautions in place so everyone can have a great beauty experience. One way that Civello is taking safety seriously is to utilize every other station to allow for physical distancing between clients.

It’s official! Ritual is reopening on June 29 for all your beauty needs. The salon will be operating at 50% capacity but has extended its hours so that it can accommodate all of its clients in a safe way. In addition, Ritual’s staff have been certified in COVID-19 safety certification programs so you know it’s taking health and safety seriously!

Summer has arrived so we know we’re not the only ones needing a wax. WAXON is reopening its seven Toronto locations and we know we’re not the only ones who are excited. While this news is definitely something to celebrate, keep in mind that WAXON won’t be performing facial services as clients need to keep masks on the whole time.

The Ten Spot

With locations all throughout Toronto to choose from, The Ten Spot has officially reopened as of June 24 and we’re thrilled. The chain is, of course, implementing increased safety measures for all but you can still expect the highest level of quality when you book in for your wax, nail, or laser appointment.

Medulla & Co.

We all know that COVID-19 didn’t do businesses any favours and that unfortunately means that the Medulla’s Queen West location has shuttered. However, there is a silver lining because its Yorkville salon is reopening for business on June 26 at 9 a.m. sharp.
