Everyone needs some rest and relaxation every now and then. And luckily for those in and around the Toronto area, there’s an impressive new spa coming to town.

Luxury French skincare brand Guerlain will be opening its first Canadian spa in Toronto.

Slated to open in the late spring/early summer 2019, Canada’s first Guerlain spa will open its doors inside Hotel X Toronto.

As one of the most prestigious beauty brands in the world, spa goers can expect nothing less than luxurious at the Guerlain Spa.

Offerings will include an exclusive menu of treatments focused on beauty and wellbeing — think facials, massages, and body treatments — all making use of Guerlain’s signature products.

The Toronto spa will feature ten different treatment rooms.

The exclusive treatment rooms and pre-and-post stay relaxation rooms promise to offer beautiful views overlooking Lake Ontario, making it the perfect retreat from city life.

If the Toronto spa is anything like Guerlain’s Paris location, we can expect a highly personalized experience.

Founded in 1939, Institut Guerlain is rich in history and knowledge. Aestheticians train for nine months before they work with clients and are taught 350 different massage techniques.

Each facial offered is “made to measure,” meaning that every product used is adapted specifically to an individual’s skin. Because everyone’s skin is different, no single facial is ever the same.

Guerlain will join an impressive roster at Hotel X Toronto.

The new spa will live in the hotel’s expansive 90,000-square-foot athletic centre, 10XTO, on the 28th floor, which also features yoga, fitness, indoor tennis and squash courts, and a heated indoor/outdoor pool.

In addition, Hotel X is home to a number of dining establishments including Falcon SkyBar, Maxx’s Kitchen, Pétros 82 Lobby Bar, Starbucks, and Nespresso Café.

Later this year, Hotel X will open another eatery, Pétros 82, which will focus on flavourful Mediterranean fare and overlook Stanley Gardens.

Stay tuned for more on the opening of Canada’s first Guerlain spa.
