Toronto Malls Are Reopening Select Stores This Week

Let’s be real — we’re all missing strolling at the mall and while we certainly can’t pop in for a quick shopping trip just yet, some Toronto malls are starting to offer curbside pickup in accordance with the new regulations set by public health officials.

The CF Toronto Eaton Centre and Yorkdale Shopping Centre have reopened select stores for curbside pick-up starting this week.

Stores with street entrances are allowed to offer curbside pick-up only and customers will have to wait outside to get their items. At The Eaton Centre, four stores will be open: Hudson’s Bay, Canadian Tire, Nordstrom, and Best Buy.

A little further north is Yorkdale and the mall’s website reveals that Nordstrom, Hudson’s Bay, Shoppers Drug Mart, Indigo, LensCrafters, and Holt Renfrew will be opening for curbside pick-up.

Sherway Gardens has also announced that eight of its retailers will be offering curbside pickup. Those stores are Nordstrom, Hudson’s Bay, Indigo, Saks Fifth Avenue, JOEY Restaurants, Starbucks, The Keg, and Cactus Club Cafe.

Not all stores at each mall are reopening at the same time and the hours may vary so make sure you contact each retailer to confirm hours of operation.

While this news about Toronto malls reopening is super exciting and you can bet that we can’t wait to get back into the swing of things (aka shopping to our heart’s content), health officials are urging folks to not leave your house unless you absolutely need something.
