Bloomberg is reporting that E-commerce giants Yoox Net-A-Porter is working on a service that will allow customers to buy products through popular Facebook-owned messaging platform What’s App.
Currently, Yoox Net-A-Porter uses What’s App to communicate with some of their top spending customers, however, they are looking to expand the service to control a greater stake in the market.
The brand has yet to announce a specific launch date for the product, but surely this will be a move that is watched closely by the e-commerce world. If this works, expect many retailers to follow suit with personalized buying experience through messaging services like What’s App.
We will keep you posted with developments.
