At select Nordstrom stores, Lancôme offers the opportunity for customers to create their own custom shade of their popular Le Teint Particulier foundation. After using a special scanning device to gather data on your skin, they can then whip up the foundation in your exact tone and adjust the coverage and hydration levels to meet your needs.

3. FUNCTION OF BEAUTY
Created by MIT engineers and data scientists, Function of Beauty allows you to create your own shampoos and conditioners based on your individual hair care needs. Simply take the online hair quiz, which asks questions about the current state of your hair and your top five hair goals. You can then choose your product’s size, colour, and fragrance, and even have your name printed on the bottle!

4. SKIN INC.
Skin Inc.’s “My Daily Dose Custom-Blended Serum” allows you to create your own personalized serum formula. You first need to complete a short quiz on their website, and they will then recommend three serums most suitable for your current skin condition and lifestyle. Once you receive those serums, you get to be your own chemist and mix them into your own custom blend!
