A story that appeared on Reddit this morning is causing concern in Toronto. According to the post, someone reportedly found a recording device inside the washroom of a Starbucks at 4 King Street West.
The camera and audio device has since been removed from the washroom, but after reading the post on Reddit you realize how sophisticated these devices are.
The device was conspicuously hidden inside of a fake power outlet and one can only speculate on the devious reasons for the placement.
The post does not specify on whether or not the camera was found in the men’s or women’s washroom, nor does it go into any detail as to what was discovered on the device. We assume the device has been handed over to authorities and some sort of an investigation will be pursued in the future.
