If late-night poutine is your thing, then it’s pretty likely you’ve heard of or been to popular Toronto spot Poutini’s House of Poutine. The beloved poutinerie has garnered international recognition after being featured by celebrated late chef Anthony Bourdain.

The poutinerie has officially closed its doors permanently after 10 years at its West Queen West location.

According to BlogTO, signs for lease were posted in the window and its website has disappeared. The restaurant used to have a location on King West but it closed a while back.

Poutini’s House of Poutine isn’t the only food joint to shut its doors in Toronto as of late. Bubble tea spot Labotherapy recently closed as well as Butter Avenue on Queen.

There’s no word yet on if this permanent closure was COVID-19 related, but either way, we’ll certainly miss getting our hands on Poutini’s poutine as it was known for being one of the best poutines in Toronto.
