If you spend any time on social media, you’ve probably noticed a lot of your friends and family get into making bread. But with shortages of yeast and flower all over the city, getting your hands on some might be difficult. Luckily, some restaurants across Toronto are coming to the rescue, including Storm Crow Manor.
Storm Crow is offering bread-making kits for just $20 at its Toronto location.
Located on Church St., Storm Crow is a Canadian “sports bar for geeks” with two locations in Vancouver and one in Toronto. The Toronto location, Storm Crow Manor, recently launched “Pandemic Packs” for pick-up, which includes kits for breakfast (pictured below), produce, meat, bathrooms, and more.
The Breadmaster Box is perfect for those unable to find supplies in the city, or bread-making novices who don’t want to commit to buying all the ingredients individually.
The kit comes with enough supplies to make four loaves of bread.
So you can skip the store-bought bread and get to making your own. The Breadmaster Box includes a recipe, bread flour, yeast, sugar, salt, and canola. Everything included is free of peanuts, egg, shellfish, fish, soy, and tree nuts.
While the box is available for pick-up only, Storm Crow offers express pick-up, which means your order will be ready to go in 30 minutes. If you’re in the area and want to try your hand at making your own loaves, be sure to check out Storm Crow and the rest of the selection while you’re at it!
