If you’re tired of seeing grey, silver or gold devices everywhere and want to add a pop of colour to your life, Apple has some good news for you. The company has just introduced a special edition red iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus to help fight AIDS and HIV in partnership with RED.

The new smartphone represents a red version of the iPhone 8 and comes in 64GB and 256GB. The new devices will be priced at $699 and $799. But the best part is that according to Business Insider, “a portion of proceeds will go toward grants that fight HIV and AIDS as part of Product Red, which Apple has partnered with since 2006.”

It’s not the first time Apple has released a red smartphone to fight against AIDS and HIV. Last year the company launched red iPhone 7 and 7 Plus to celebrate a decade-long collaboration between the two companies.

“This special edition iPhone features a stunning red and black colour combination and also offers customers the opportunity to make an impact in fighting the spread of HIV and AIDS,” said Greg Joswiak, Apple’s vice president of Product Marketing. “We are proud to support RED with this bold new iPhone and hope customers think it is as special as we do.”

Business Insider also reports that Apple has already donated more than $160 million to the charity.

You will be able to get your hands on the devices starting this Friday.
