According to our friends at Retail-Insider, the future of US fashion and lifestyle brand J.Crew may be in question in Canada. The brand recently closed it’s CF Chinook Centre store in Calgary, and has closed several Canadian locations, most notably CF Fairview and CF Markville in the GTA.
The brand has been on the decline since the departure of Mickey Drexler and has failed to capture the attention of consumers as of late. While this is all speculation – Insiders are saying that J.Crew may be on its way out as they cancelled their Canadian PR contract and has strong interest from other brands concerning their valuable Canadian store locations.
