Where To Find The 7 Best Green Juices In The City
Summer is here and if you’re looking to fill your body with delicious nutrients, then a green juice is just the ticket. Now I know what you’re probably thinking: it’ll taste awful. While some green juices might be just blended kale, these Toronto juice institutions have (somehow) found a way to make drinking our greens absolutely delicious. So delicious in fact, that we not only pay for it but we keep coming back for more.
These 7 juice bars are where you’ll find top-of-the-line green juices — you’re welcome!
Juice institution, Greenhouse Juice Co. has taken the city and its surrounding areas by storm. Available at Greenhouse’s multiple locations and various shops, and stores, fresh and tasty juice is never too far away. If chugging a green juice seems intimidating, start off with one of Greenhouse’s lemonades, komnbuchas, milks, or shakes to get you going.
With a focus on whole body nourishment, ELXR Juice Lab is known for creating unique and cravable concoctions. I’m a huge fan of the First Base green juice which is still packed with greens but doesn’t taste like grass thanks to the addition of granny smith apples, cucumber, and mint. Not seeing green? ELXR’s After Party and Pina Vida are honestly super tasty and will have you feeling amazing!
If you’re in search of a satisfying green juice and healthy lunch, Village Juicery needs to be on your list. With five (!!!) different types of green juices up for grabs, you’re bound to find one you love, regardless if you’re a green juice newbie or pro! In addition to the 100% organic cold pressed juice, expect to find super yummy plant-based meals. I’ve had the Kale Caesar many a time and it’s so delicious and filling!
If smoothies are more your vibe, head to BOLO on Richmond for a refreshing and satisfying smoothie. This spot isn’t just a gym — it’s a cafe, smoothie bar, and hair salon, too! My personal fave is the Ronda Colada that’s made with coconut milk, spinach, lime, and pineapple. It’s a sweeter and more tropical take on a classic green smoothie but it’s packed with essential nutrients!
An OG of the juice world, Fresh has been kicking major healthy butt since 1999 and its showing no sign of slowing down. Offering up not only tasty eats but an abundance of juices, smoothies, and power shakes, this is the place to go if you’re looking for top-notch healthiness.
With now three locations in Toronto (the Summerhill location just opened!), Impact Kitchen seriously is the real deal. This gluten free spot also serves up paleo and vegan options but don’t miss out on sampling the cold-pressed juice. Whether you choose the Clean Green or the 305 To The Six, you’ll be getting all the essential vitamins and nutrients you need to slay your day!
You may be wondering why a grocery store is included in this list. But before you judge, just head to McEwan Foods, yourself. Upon entering, you’ll see a plethora of fresh, house made juices available. Normally I’d be a bit wary of grocery store organic juices (who knows how long they’ve sat there?!) but when it’s from McEwan’s, you know it’s the best of the best!
