We love it when brands do something out of the box (pun intended), and Buick has done just that. As a car company that espouses style and creativity, Buick wanted to give Canadians a chance to experience the luxury and style factor Buick offers in a unique and accessible way.
In partnership with the Art and Sole Academy, a Toronto-based shoemaking school, Buick has launched the #BuickStyle driving shoe. Made from Avenir leather – the same leather used in the interior of the brand’s highest trim level of vehicles – the #BuickStyle driving shoe will be customizable, allowing Canadians to design their pair with their own personal taste and flair. The design options go far beyond the colour of the shoe, entailing hardware choices, lace selections and a variety of toe box styles.
Buick is selling a limited number of pairs, nation-wide starting May 15, 2018 at a price of $189. Canadians can visit the following link to purchase their own pair: https://www.artandsoleacademy.com/buickstyle.html
I had the pleasure of crafting my own pair of #BuickStyle shoes and they came out great. By using the actual leather that Buick uses in their cars you can see the level of quality and care that goes into any vehicle. Who knew the same leather could make amazing designer quality shoes?
