Everyone’s favourite amusement park is finally welcoming customers next month! Canada’s Wonderland is set to open its doors during Step 2 of Ontario’s reopening framework, which is happening the first week of July.
Of course, Wonderland won’t be able to fully reopen, there will definitely be capacity restrictions.
On July 5 and 6, the park plans to open for a limited amount of season pass holders, then July 7 will be the pubic re-opening.
Splash Works water park will be available for use on July 12.
Not only are there capacity restrictions, but there are also a ton of safety precautions that are being taken, which are fully listed on the Canada’s Wonderland website.
Canada’s Wonderland GM Norm Pirtovshek spoke about the new rules that will be in place, “Safety has and will always be Canada’s Wonderland’s number one priority, and that includes the health of our guests and associates. With our new protocols in place, we are eager to offer some long-overdue fun to our guests.”
In order to enter the park, you must have booked a reservation. Luckily, you can start booking for the season this Thursday, June 17 at 9 a.m.
If you’re eager to spend your summer at Wonderland, season passes are now on sale for $79.99 and are valid until September 2022.
