If you braved the crowds and checked out High Park this weekend you are quite aware that Torontonians love cherry blossom trees.
Well to appease the love for cherry blossoms, it looks like another Toronto neighbourhood will be getting an amazing selection of cherry blossom trees for Torontonians to flock to.
Thanks to a Japanese donor, Sakura trees (the technical name for cherry blossom trees) will be planted at Woodbine Beach Park and turned into a cherry blossom tunnel. The cherry blossom installation will be similar to cherry blossom tunnels that are popular in Japan.
If cherry blossom trees are your thing, head down to Woodbine Beach Park next year.
