This Brand Was Highly Recommended By My Dermatologist For Preventing & Minimizing Wrinkles

One topic all women of all ages can agree upon is we all hate the ageing process and dread wrinkles. While some women opt for facelifts or Botox injections, they are beyond most of our budgets and pain tolerance. And since neither is a viable option for most of us, the anti-ageing cream industry cleans up, pulling in billions of dollars every year from all of us looking for assistance. While none are miraculous, some help us keep that younger look better than others.

If you are like me, you’ve probably tried brand after brand of face cleansers and anti-ageing creams in the hopes of decreasing wrinkles, bags and puffiness under the eyes, and creases around the jaw, nose, and mouth. For the past few years, I’ve used Kiehl’s and Caudalie, both fine products. But I got to the point where I felt I needed something stronger, and the past few weeks I’ve been trying out Neostrata products: Neostrata Exfoliating Wash, Neostrata Intensive Eye Therapy, Neostrata, Cellular Restoration, and Neostrata Matrix Support with SPF 30 Sunscreen. Neostrata products, available at Shopper’s Drug Mart, are also highly recommended by my dermatologist.

Neostrata Exfoliating Wash: $40. Good for all skin types, this soap-free cleanser cleans pores, removes oil and makeup, enhances clarity and skin texture, and stimulates cell renewal. It’s made from aloe, chamomile, cucumber, and rosemary extracts, Gluconolactone, and Maltobionic Acid. I love the fresh and clean wash. It doesn’t dry out or irritate my skin, and makes my complexion feel soft and smooth.

Neostrata Intensive Eye Therapy: $84. It claims to lift and firm, smooth lines, reduce puffiness, reduce fine lines and wrinkles, and it fulfills all of its promises. Ingredients include Neo-glucosamine, Peptides, caffeine, Hyaluronic Acid, and Vitamin E. It goes on smoothly, absorbs quickly, is non-greasy, non-irritating, and hydrates beautifully. I see a dramatic improvement with diminished dark circles under my eyes, smoothed out crow’s feet, and reduced puffiness.

Neostrata Cellular Restoration: $85. This cream is ideal all skin types, including those with acne, to restore essential oils and reduce oxidative damage. It both lifts and firms. Made from Shea butter, peptides, Vitamin E, antioxidants, alpha hydroxy acids, apple stem cell extract, and glycolic acid. It’s paraben-free and fragrance free. I see a noticeable difference, with plumper and more supple skin, and less visible wrinkles.

Neostrata Support with SPF 30 Sunscreen: $72. This cream targets discolouration and neutralizes free radicals as it lifts and firms. Made from Neo-glucosamine, Retinol, UVA and UVB filters, pomegranate, and Vitamins A and E. I love the light feeling of this moisturizer and its creamy texture that is quickly absorbed by my skin. It gives my skin a glowing and healthy appearance and my skin texture feels so soft. It helps lessen dark spots, with the added bonus of a SPF 30 sunscreen.
