Toronto is getting a thrift market this month where everything will be free!

The market in question, REmarket, is held by the St. Lawrence Neighborhood Association Waste Reduction Group to reduce waste in the community.

On the first day of the 2-day event, there will be a market called FREEmarket where anyone can come in and take whatever they want from the available selection of donations and/or make donations at the same time.

Your ‘trash’ could be someone else’s treasure and vice versa!

The REmarket event is being held on January 24th and 25th at the St. Lawrence Market Tent. The free market portion is on the 24th from 10AM to 7PM.

Repair Café Toronto will also be fixing clothing, jewellery, computers, home electronics, toys, and more on location!

Items that are donated and usable will be included in the FreeMarket or will be redistributed, refurbished, or upcycled by its charity partners, including the Salvation Army.

Items accepted for donation (and up for grabs) include clothing, shoes, accessories, household items, books, toys, and more. For more details, click here.
