Late last year, we updated you on the exciting news that Costco would be opening a new business store format in Toronto! Well, the wait is almost over and pretty soon you’ll be able to shop for endless amounts of pens, paper clips and more at their first Business Centre.
The 127,000-sqaure-foot store will be the first in Canada and is slotted to open this Friday, March 31st in Scarborough, located at a former Zellers on Thermos Road near Warden and Eglinton avenues in the Golden Mile area.
Costco was quoted saying that the new Business Centre will “create more than 100 jobs and will enable thousands of local businesses of all sizes to benefit from reduced operating expenses and the convenience of one-stop shopping in person or online with a first-of-its-kind door-to-door delivery service.”
The Business Centre opening this Friday is smaller than other Costcos in Toronto and offers shorter hours, open Monday to Friday from 7 am to 6 pm and Saturday from 7 am to 4 pm, but hey we’re not complaining, bulk-buying is the best kind of buying!
