If you’re looking for a magical experience, you’re in the right place.
Headed to the Sony Centre for the Performing Arts is the third instalment of the Harry Potter Film Concert Series. This time around, the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Justin Freer, will perform the magical score from Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, while the film plays in high-definition on a 40-foot screen.
The concert series is set to perform across the globe through 2018. There are also plans to orchestrate the entire series, meaning there are five more concerts on the roster.
Harry Potter fans won’t want to miss this once in a lifetime opportunity. The live performance of the Oscar-nominated soundtrack will surely put a spell on the audience as they follow the adventures of their favourite wizard.
Tickets for the event, which happens May 16 and 17, are available at Sonycentre.ca and by phone at 1-855-872-SONY starting Friday, August 18 at 10am.
And if you’d like to catch the second instalment, which will see the Toronto Symphony Orchestra conduct the score for Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets this October, tickets are still available and can be purchased here. Get a look at what you can expect in the video below.
