With shows like Today’s Special where mannequins come alive in the night, or The O.C. where the gang gets to camp in the mall, sleeping in a store overnight has always been a huge fascination.
And now, some lucky Canadians will be able to do it — without getting in trouble with the law.
IKEA Canada is hosting a slumber party for its fans in stores across Canada.
For one night only, guests are being offered the chance to win a sleepover experience in the IKEA showroom bedroom display. And in true sleepover spirit, there’ll be plenty of fun activities.
On Saturday, February 23, guests who register on IKEA Family will be invited to spend the evening at IKEA in their pyjamas. From 8 p.m. to 11 p.m., there’ll be activities like yoga, meditation, snacks, and guidance from a sleep expert.
After the party, 20 pre-chosen guests will get to pick out their own linens and spend the night in IKEA’s bedroom showroom.
To RSVP to the IKEA Canada PJ party, all you have to do is sign up!
Just head over to IKEA Family website, select your store of choice, and input your information. Once you sign up, you will automatically be entered to win an overnight stay with a guest of choice.
In addition to winning an IKEA Canada PJ party sleepover experience, the winners of the overnight stay will receive an IKEA swag bag featuring bed textiles and other IKEA merchandise, all valued at approximately $500.
In Toronto and surrounding areas, there are four IKEA stores to apply to: North York, Etobicoke, Vaughan, and Burlington. Additional Canadian stores participating include Ottawa, Winnipeg, Calgary, Edmonton, Coquitlam, Richmond, and Halifax.
The IKEA Canada PJ party sleepover contest ends on February 15, 2019.
Hurry over and sign up if you’re interested! The spots are sure to fill up fast — each store will only have six to 10 winners selected to spend the night. The winners will be picked on February 16.
