Instagram has been looking for ways to sell you more products through its platform. According to tech insiders, Instagram is set to launch a new app that entirely dedicated to shopping.
While the new app should be categorized under the rumour tab, the news is that Instagram is working on something called “IG Shopping” and it will allow users to browse and buy products and services from businesses they follow.
The new app is reportedly in the early stages of development and has not received an official announcement or anything really concrete.
It is said though, with a huge and interactive userbase, Instagram is in a great position to launch an e-commerce platform.
