Some say September is the year’s second new year and they’ve got good reason. There are so many things happening around the city, like the opening of Canada’s first Chick-fil-A and the opening of a brand new Jollibee.

This weekend, the beloved Filipino fast food chain is hosting grand opening event for a new location at 79 Billy Bishop Way at Wilson Station, meaning those in the area who have been patiently awaiting Jollibee’s opening can finally say, “It’s Our Turn!”

The new Jollibee will be opening on Friday, September 6, 2019 and to celebrate, the restaurant is giving away a year’s supply of free chicken!

But you’ll have to get there early to win the big prize!

The first 25 people in line who spend $25 or more will receive “One Year Of Joy,” which includes a year’s supply of Jolly Crispy Chicken. And there are more perks for attending the grand opening, too. The first 50 customers in line holding banners or posters with the hashtag “#ItsOurTurn” will receive a Jollibee Funko Pop! figure. And the first 300 customers who spend $25 or more will receive a special Jollibee collectible.

If you can’t make it to Wilson Station, don’t fret! There are at least two more Jollibee locations opening in the GTA.

As we reported earlier, Jollibee is currently working on a location at Promenade Mall and another location will be opening up downtown Toronto near Ryerson University. While no opening dates have been announced for either location, construction has already begun at the Promenade location and the downtown location is rumoured to open in 2020.

We’ll keep you posted on the opening dates.
