The best things in life are free and next week in Toronto, one restaurant is giving away its take on a very Canadian treat.
Located at 617 King Street West, My Meatball Place is a new Toronto-based restaurant that praises all things meatball-related. The new restaurant is brought to you by the folks behind popular Indian spot My Roti Place.
The concept of the eatery is DIY: you choose the base (fries, rice, rigatoni, or salad), the meatball (chicken, beef, veggie, cheesy potato, or vegan), and the sauce, of which there are plenty. Inspired by the flavours of the world, in addition to classic marinara, visitors can choose from Butter Masala, Aji and Beans, Coconut Thai, and Hakka Chilli sauce.
And on National Poutine Day, My Meatball Place is giving away free poutine!
If you work in the King and Portland area, make sure to drop by to get your snack on. Visitors can head to the restaurant on Thursday, April 11th between 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. to receive a complimentary sample of meatball and vegan poutine.
The poutines will be made with perfectly crisp fries, and visitors will have a variety of sauces to choose from, including gravy, butter masala, and Thai coconut.
If you like what you taste, be sure to try out some of My Meatball Place’s other offerings, too!
In addition to meatballs, visitors can also eat up menu items like Tequila Chicken Lollipops, grilled street corn, and Honey Garlic chicken wings.
