French fashion, and/or Parisian fashion, refers to a particular style aesthetic that can often be described as effortlessly chic. On the streets of Paris, you can often spot Parisians wearing timeless classics, perfectly styled from head to toe with a casual undertone. A popular French uniform consists of straight-leg denim, a cashmere sweater, a boxy blazer, a black leather belt, loafers, and understated gold jewellery to tie it all together. The thing about achieving an effortless look is that it actually requires a certain amount of effort. But by gathering some style inspiration and shopping from the right brands, you too, can achieve French-girl status.

Shop from these 11 brands if you love French fashion!

Since then, celebrity brands have become somewhat of a trend, with countless stars launching their own labels in every market imaginable.

With the sheer amount of celebrity brands hitting the shelves (some better than others), it can be hard to put trust in them. We’ve all seen, and maybe even fallen victim to, lackluster products from brands endorsed by celebrities, after all! That being said, some celebrity brands are doing it right and using their inevitable upper hand to put out good, even great, products.

Boho-chic is back, and it got a makeover! Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen have entered the chat. Back in the early 2000s, the boho-chic fashion aesthetic was huge. Popularly being worn by it-girls such as the Olsen twins, Nicole Richie, and even Gossip Girl’s Serena Van Der Woodsen. You may remember the boho fashion with a hippie-like, maximal approach, and although some core traits are being carried forward into today’s version of the trend, there’s an overall more refined feel to the new boho-chic.

The resurgence of the trend was made extra concrete with the virality of Chloé’s latest runway show (Chemena Kamili’s debut collection for the brand). She said it best to Vogue when asked about the return of boho-chic: “I think there’s this longing for undone-ness and freedom and softness and movement…” The designs in the show featured flowy silhouettes, shirred necklines, statement accessories, large sunglasses, and an overall bohemian vibe that felt fresh and nostalgic at the same time. Boho-chic doesn’t stop at Chloé, though; there are plenty of places to shop the new-and-improved trend.
