Calling all Under Armour fans! The popular athletic brand that was previously only available in select sports retailers, online, and in its Factory House stores has opened its first-ever Canadian store.
Located on the ground level of CF Toronto Eaton Centre, the new flagship brand store stands at approximate 3,000-square-feet and features all of the brand’s latest innovations, including UA HOVR footwear, UA RUSH, and UA Recover apparel.

Local artists have filled the walls and change rooms with artwork that’s distinctly local — think CN Towers, neighbourhood street signs, and of course, racoons.

Divided down the middle, men’s apparel and footwear is on one side, while women’s is on the other. Product is also divided into sports sections — looking for running gear? There’s a section dedicated to that! Looking for the latest releases and newest innovations? Those will be up front.
Fans of the brand can also expect to see exclusive drops at the store. Take, for instance, the highly anticipated Under Armour Curry 7, shoppers will be able to pick up their pair in-store when it’s released at the beginning of November.

Under Armour is giving away custom Toronto t-shirts while quantities last. All you have to do is spend $50 or more.

Since UNIQLO opened its first store in Toronto three years ago, the retailer has become a go-to in the city for everyday basics and wardrobe staples. With its steady popularity, it’s no surprise that the Japanese retailer is opening another store in Toronto.
Earlier this year, UNIQLO expanded its CF Toronto Eaton Centre store with a third level dedicated to its graphic tee shirts, and later this month, Toronto will be getting another unique space.
According to a press release, the new store will open on October 16, 2019 and will be popped up until October 2020. The store will be open Mondays to Fridays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Different from the brand’s other stores, the Toronto Financial District UNIQLO, which will be located on the concourse of First Canadian Place, won’t feature the brand’s entire collection, but select items from UNIQLO’s LifeWear line. Each month will see a different rotation of goods for men and women.

And it’s sure to make the busy lives of the folks in the area that much simpler. The Toronto Financial District UNIQLO will feature key pieces from the LifeWear line which, according to the brand’s website, is “designed to make everyone’s life better.”

In addition to shopping the LifeWear line, shoppers will also be able to drop off gently used UNIQLO clothing for donation in-store through the brand’s All-Product Recycling Initiative.
There are lots of exciting things coming to the Financial District. French patisserie Ladurée will also open a location in the area later this year.

Online-based customizable sticker company StickerYou has opened a store on the city’s most popular shopping strip, Queen St. West.
Featuring a three-storey tall lightening bolt sticker decal on the outside of the building, the inside is just as decorated.
The first thing visitors will notice is the shop’s sticker-bombed wall, adorned with white water bottles and skateboards. On the opposite wall, shoppers will find designs by StickerYou’s artists, pre-made patches, and temporary tattoos.

Down the middle of the space are sticker-covered objects like a guitar and record player. You can also browse the permanent sticker museum which is curated by the artists and inventors of Peel Magazine, Holly and Dave Combs. The museum showcases the impact of stickers and its history, and there will be rotating exhibits and events throughout the year.

If you’ve got a design that you just need to stick somewhere, the good folks at the StickerYou store can help. They’ll walk you through hundreds of custom design options and show you how to create your own.
The store features something for people of all ages, so whether you’re an avid sticker collector, just looking to decorate your water bottle, or just wanna grab a cool Instagram-worthy picture, it’s worth checking out!

Our favourite go-to spot for outdoor gear and notable for their work to preserve wildlife, Mountain Co-Op Equipment is now opening a massive store on Queen West. Construction is underway now right between Lush Cosmetics and The Black Bull (the one with the unreal patio).
So far, an opening date has yet to be announced – We do know that the store will be similar in size to the previous store at around 40,000 square feet. It also has three levels of parking below it as well as a green roof and office space atop the primary retail store. It’s going to be BIG.

A few weeks ago, the creme de la creme of home stores opened in Yorkdale Shopping Centre.
Standing at 70,000 square feet, the new Restoration Hardware — otherwise known as RH Toronto, the Gallery at Yorkdale — is four levels of absolute #homegoals, with interior and exterior space. Each level is dedicated to a different category: RH Interiors, RH Modern and RH Outdoor, and professional design services are offered on each.
And while yes, you can buy things in the store, it’s a space that is meant to be lingered in. Not only does the store feature furniture, carpeting, counters and more, on its ground level you’ll find a coffee bar and restaurant by famed Chicago restauranteur Brendan Sodikoff. The concept, which combines retail and hospitality, is new for RH, and is only the second to launch in all of North America, with the first concept space in Chicago.
