We’ve got some super exciting news. As of February 11th, the highly anticipated downtown Toronto Chick-fil-A location is open!
The new Chick-fil-A will be open Monday through Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Order takeout or dine-in, whichever you prefer, plus, a third-party delivery service will be available shortly.
This spot was actually once home to a Le Chateau, an Urban Behaviour, and then David’s Tea until late 2014.
The store opening is part of the company’s expansion plans as it just previously opened a location in Scarborough and in Kitchener in 2021. Chick-fil-A also operates a location on Yonge and Bloor, one in Yorkdale Shopping Centre, and another in Windsor.
Owner and Operator of the new restaurant, Keisse Azevedo, is thrilled to be serving the community with delicious, high-quality food stating in a release, “I’m excited to contribute to one of the city’s most dynamic neighbourhoods by helping those in need in the Queen Street West community, providing personal growth opportunities to my team and showing care to all who walk through our doors.”
In honour of the new opening, Chick-fil-A has donated a whopping USD$25,000 to the Yonge Street Mission Evergreen Centre for Street-Involved Youth, an inclusive, comprehensive center for street-involved youth in Toronto. How awesome is that?

Finally, we have officially approached Step 3 in Ontario’s reopening plan and are well underway. With this new step, there are a handful of indoor/outdoor Toronto facilities and services that are able to welcome individuals back.
If you do plan on heading over to any of these recreational spaces, please follow all safety precautions in place. Some of these rules will include the mandatory use of face masks, capacity restrictions, and reservation slots. So, before you visit a facility, head on over to the location’s website to inquire about reservations and dedicated time slots as well.
With key public health indicators continuing to improve and the provincewide vaccination rate surpassing targets, Ontario will move into Step Three of the Roadmap to Reopen on July 16 at 12:01 a.m.

Beloved cocktail supply store, Cocktail Emporium’s Union Station location is now open and folks everywhere, including us, couldn’t more excited. This is the retailer’s third Toronto location and while it’ll be the smallest, trust that, like any good cocktail, it still packs a major punch. The deli is owned by Lawrence La Pianta, of Cherry Street Bar-B-Que so you know you’re getting the real deal!

While we definitely have a thing for chunky jewelry, nothing is prettier than subtle and dainty jewels. Even though the mall is a bit outside Toronto, it’ll be well worth the drive once you see all the sparkly pieces. You’ll find gorgeous rings, bracelets, meaningful gems, and more.
