The famous UK chain, Pret A Manger will be opening in Canada in the near future!
The cafe first began in London, England back in 1986, and has become very popular. It sells delicious baked goods, sandwiches, and of course coffee.
It operates close to 400 spots in the UK, United States, Hong Kong, France, Germany, Switzerland, as well as Dubai.
Although the company did close over 30 stores over the past two years, Pret A Manger is looking to expand through Canada. A&W and Pret A Manger have made an agreement to start opening up shops.
The agreement is for a two-year trial phase, and if everything works out well, A&W will be allowed to expand the brand throughout the rest of Canada.
According to blogTO, a representative with A&W confirmed with them that pilot locations will in fact be in the GTA.
Specific areas have yet to be determined, so keep your eyes open for updates!
