Have you missed viewing movies on the big screen? Although indoor theatres are still restricted, drive-in movie theatres will be re-opening very soon!
The 5 Drive-In in Oakville took to Facebook last week to announce the great news. The post stated “…We are gearing up and getting ready to start our 2021 season in Early March. We will have lots of amazing content and we will surely create some more incredible memories to last a lifetime. Watch out in the next few weeks for further exciting announcements…”
Even the Premier Theatres owner, Brian Allen, spoke out to blogTo explaining that they have hopes, COVID permitting, to open its three locations as soon as March 5. He even told the media outlet that they’ll be offering films of all genres from vintage to new releases.
As of right now, Ontario Place’s Drive-In will continue to stay closed until at least April, so Toronto residents will have to make a drive to the next closest theatre—although, a short trip for some great entertainment.

With non-essential businesses opening up for curbside pick-up, it leaves us wondering when our favourite chain restaurants like Tim Hortons will be able to reopen dining areas. Restaurant Brands International, the owner of Tim Hortons, Burger King, and Popeyes has revealed its plan for what that might look like.
For the last eight weeks, the company’s restaurants have been complying with public health guidelines by serving customers through delivery, drive-thru, and mobile channels. Now that things are changing and it’s looking like things are heading in a positive direction, it’s time to start looking at what these quick-service restaurants will look like when they reopen to customers.
RBI has mandated that all employees must wear masks and gloves in the short-term but now it’s brand and operations teams are now looking into more comfortable and reusable masks that might become part of its standard uniform.
When these restaurants open up, customers will notice tabletop signage letting them know which seats are available and which are reserved to preserve social distancing.

It would be an understatement to say that American Apparel went through some serious woes over the past few years. Their owner Dov Charney was ousted, AA filed for bankruptcy, the company closed stores globally and was later acquired by apparel giant Gildan.
According to Hypebeast, American Apparel has re-launched globally and is looking to capture some of the brand’s magic from days of yore. To mark AA’s return, the brand has launched a “Back to Basics” campaign, which showcases the products that made the brand famous in the first place. The new collection will feature a range of all-time favourites including those colourful hoodies and T’s that everyone wanted in 2004.
If you can remember, at one point American Apparel was a cultural juggernaut essentially ushering in the mass proliferation of hipsters in the early 2000’s. The style was simple, American made and could be incorporated into many varying styles.
AA officially launches today with a brand new web store.
It’s been more than a year since the Toronto Jordan Brand store at 306 Yonge closed its doors after a successful stint during the 2016 NBA All-Star game in Toronto.
Fans that got a chance to check out the store were treated to the most coveted Jordan Brand kicks and an interactive and innovative retail concept.
Luckily, shoppers that missed a chance to check out the store will now have an opportunity to check out the store whenever they want because Toronto’s first Jordan Brand store will officially open this weekend.
On Saturday, May 27 at 6:23 am, the Jordan Brand store will open its doors to Toronto customers. Expect big lines and access to coveted Jordan brand sneakers, as the company always has a few tricks up their sleeves for store launches.
Regular store hours will resume on Sunday (11 am to 7 pm). Regular hours will be 10 am to 9 pm on weekdays and 9:30 am to 9 pm on Saturdays.
