This Dude “Impersonated” The President of Supreme and Signed Fake Partnerships For Millions

Here’s another weird retail/fashion story that shows China’s insane love for the streetwear brand Supreme. According to Hypebeast, recently, a man travelled to China to exploit the countries obsession with the brand.

The reports say that a man went to China claiming to be the “President” of Supreme, and began taking meetings on behalf of the historic New York brand.  Again according to Hypebeast, the guy posing as the “President” made millions signing a series of collaborations with Chinese brands. There’s now video of the scammer circulation on social media showing elaborate fake signing events with the “President”.

So this dude in the bow tie went to China and presented himself as the President of @supremenewyork ? And signed a deal to do collabs with a few Chinese brands. WTF?? This dude just made millions off the deal. A friend of @brooklyndom1 sent him this. It went down a few days ago.
