This Weekend There's a Market In Toronto Where Everything is Free

There are so many markets in the city it’s hard to choose which ones to actually go to. Well if you’re looking to go to a market and spend absolutely nothing we’ve got you covered. This upcoming Saturday, April 7 visitors to Campbell Park will get to experience the “April Really Really Free Market“. We think the name is pretty self-explanatory but at the Campbell Park Free Market – everything is free. No money or trading necessary.  It’s a truly unique way to get some great stuff if you’re looking to save your money or just experience something fun and unique.

How Does The Market Work?

If you are looking to shop the market, you simply have to show up to the market and enjoy yourself.  The market opens at 10:00 am and runs until 4:00 pm. There is a limit of one shopping bag per family in order to ensure everyone gets their fair crack at all the great free stuff. If you are looking to give away some personal items, you can bring your stuff to the market before 3:00 pm. The organizers simply ask that you bring manageable items – no large furniture or extremely heavy items.

After 3:o0pm the market ditches all rules and you can pretty much take as much as you want.

Event Info

If this sounds like something that may be of interest to you, you can head Campbell Park ( 225 Campbell Ave. Toronto, Ontario)  on April 7 from 10 am until 4:00 pm. If you can’t make it on the 7th, the Really Really Free Market is set to run the first Saturday of every month for the rest of the summer.
