If you’re an avid book reader, you know how costly the past time is — it seems like books just keep getting more and more expensive. But there’s something about touching and feeling each page; being able to jot down notes and doggy ear pages after each chapter.
Fortunately, there’s a big Toronto book sale happening this weekend that’s sure to save you a fortune.
From August 17 to 19, head to the Toronto Reference Library to shop the annual Friends of Toronto Public Library Clearance Book Sale. It’s the best event in the city for purchasing preloved reads.
For sale, visitors will find CDs, DVDs and books, many priced from 10 to 50 cents. What’s even better is that your dollars will go to a good cause as all money raised will be used to support library programs and services.
Just remember to bring your own bags and cash, as they won’t be accepting any other forms of payment.
