Here’s some great news for Torontonians! A brand new farmer’s market is headed to the city next year and it’s going to be its largest one to date.
The new spot will open on the north of St. Lawrence Market and is expected to be completed by fall 2022.

There is a thought out reason for this development. The North Market building was underutilized before and wasn’t maximizing the potential of the entire St. Lawrence Market complex. This redevelopment will now improve all areas for both vendors and customers.
Not only will you be able to shop for fresh produce and delicious goodies, but there will also be an archeological display that will show historical artifacts of the City of Toronto, as well as courtrooms, and offices.

If you’ve walked past the area, you’ll see that construction on the building has already begun, which is super exciting.
Based on current events and the year we’ve had so far, we can potentially expect some delays, but fingers crossed the farmer’s market opens on time!
