Have you heard of the Australian skincare brand Aesop?

Well, if you haven’t you’re about to see a lot more of Aesop in Toronto! Famous for its awesome smelling hand soaps and lotions, even if you’ve never purchased from the brand, chances are you’ve seen its products used in popular hotels and restaurants. If you’re already a fan, get excited, as three standalone locations are opening in the city.

The three new shops will join the 12 other Canadian locations that have opened since 2015.

One shop is set to open at Yorkdale Mall and will be 780 square feet. You’ll find it in the luxury wing of the shopping centre, near the recently opened Louis Vuitton store. The other Aesop store will be located in a 980 square foot space at 94 Cumberland Street in the Bloor-Yorkville area of Toronto.

The third shop will live at 2579 Yonge Street which was actually set to open in late 2020, but due to the pandemic restrictions, it’s remained closed. So, once restrictions are lifted, this store will be up and running right away.

Although there isn’t a set date for the Yorkdale Mall and Cumberland Street locations to open we can expect it to be sometime this year.
