I Tried Lise Watier's New Korean Beauty Products — Here's What I Thought

If being locked up for three months during the peak of the pandemic hasn’t made me sit down and learn everything I needed to know about perfecting a skincare routine, then I don’t know what will. I’m now totally obsessed with keeping my skin wrinkle-free and glowy at all times. With that being said, keeping up with the latest skin product launches are a must.

When Lise Watier introduced its Korean beauty line, I knew I needed it ASAP.

The two products that I got a hold of are the Hydrating Mask and the Cooling Hydrating Jelly. I gave these two products a shot and incorporated them into my skincare routine for one week, and let me tell you, my cheeks were baby-bottom smooth.

I cleansed my face as usual, and next, I dug into the Hydrating Mask. I put it all over my face — avoiding the eye area, of course — and left it on for 15 minutes. After my timer went off, I rinsed it off with warm water.

I could not stop touching my face, the infusion of rose petals creates an impeccable aroma, along with the enrichment of hyaluronic acid adds generous moisturization.

I’ve genuinely never found a mask that truly leaves your skin so soft and hydrated even moments after you wash it off. This mask can soothe and even up my skin tone for days.

Next in line is the Cooling Hydrating Jelly. The magic in a container is just what my face needed to finish off my beauty routine. Made with such gentle ingredients such as centella asiatica, hyaluronic acid, and fig, it’s great for my sensitive skin. Those with sensitive skin know the struggle of constantly being concerned whether a product will irritate the surface or not.

Once I lather this all over my face and neck, I instantly feel so refreshed and my skin feels nice and plump.

Both of these products are free of parabens, alcohol, and oil. Knowing this, it’s a major plus for me. There are always so many unnecessary and harmful chemicals that are in skincare. It’s so refreshing to see ingredients that aren’t totally foreign. It definitely makes me feel good about using products like these on areas of my face that are so fragile.

With Korean beauty having such a great rep in the beauty industry for being innovative and full of great ingredients, I had a feeling that I would fall in love with the Lise Watier Korean beauty line. After using these miracle workers for a week I’m totally adding these into my routine. They’re most definitely here to stay.

I can’t wait to get (and keep) my skin glow on!
