When strolling through the showroom that features expertly designed kitchens, living rooms, bedrooms, and bathrooms, it’s fun to pretend for just a few minutes that we live here. While you may not be able to live at IKEA, you can party there as the retailer is now hosting free house parties.
The IKEA house parties take place on August 16 in stores across Canada and they’re totally free!
These parties are happening in multiple IKEA locations and all you have to do to go to one is register to be an IKEA family member. It’s free to register and after you do, and every member can bring a plus one to the party!
Wondering what you can expect at an IKEA house party? Narcity reports that the event will include include Swedish trivia, Guess that sound, a photo opp station, and a mixology station that blends IKEA food beverages together.
After these house parties kick off on Friday, an exciting events-packed week is to follow that includes workshops like how to organize your bedroom and how to optimize your sleep pattern, to how to have a “smart” home.
These events won’t be all the same throughout the country, so it’s best to check online to see what your local store is offering.
