We are so excited to tell you about JerkFest.
JerkFest Heats Up The GTA This Weekend

Smokey, flavourful, juicy, spicy, worldly… These are all words used to describe one of our favourite dishes… Jerk chicken. Whether you get it at your local Jamaican spot, or you have a tried and true family recipe, jerk chicken is one of those things that if you love it, you really love it!

This is why we are so excited to tell you about JerkFest. The annual festival takes place around the second weekend in August every year. JerkFest celebrates the world renown jerk cuisine. Its a fusion of jerk food, pulsating music, family friendly entertainment and good vibes – all under the throbbing Toronto sun.

The festival will take place August 10-13 at Centennial  Park at the base of the hills in Etobicoke.
While there will be tons of vendors serving up jerk chicken, pork and other jerk dishes, this is a great time to experience Caribbean culture, especially if you just missed out on big Caribana parade.
The festival is much more than food, attendees can see live musical performances which include Maxi Priest, Caribbean dance teams and so much more.

If you want to get into the mood here’s a little Maxi Priest for you.
