Doughnuts lovers rejoice! Krispy Kreme is about to release a limited run of doughnuts that is marketed as a celebration for the upcoming solar eclipse. This special edition doughnut is a rendition of the classic Original Glazed dipped in chocolate. According to Krispy Kreme, the new doughnut will be available on August 21, the same day as the eclipse.
While the official statement is saying that this new doughnut will only be available in the U.S., according to Krispy Kreme’s Canadian Instagram account, it looks like it’s coming here as well. The caption underneath the latest photo reads “Chocolate alert ?Stay tuned ? #comingsoon #bientot”.
